The family has been invited to Paul’s boss’s home to watch the Super Bowl.
Paul is home from Vietnam, for which we are very thankful. There were bad storms today and he flew through O’Hare which is often a challenge. He was only delayed a couple hours and now he is tucking the kids into bed and while I lounge in our room.
I awoke at 2:00 this morning to the sounds and lights of a police raid, but it was only Christopher getting a drink of water. Once satisfied, he slapped, slapped, slapped, flat footed down the hall and back to bed. I wasn’t able to get back to sleep until some time after 3:30.
Kids, are you worried? Are you wondering about the laundry? How many piles are on the floor? Are there baskets in EVERY room? I’m sorry you don’t know. It’s been busy around here. Paul’s been traveling A LOT, then there’s that adorable little baby and of course reading book after book and trolling the internet takes time, my friends.
