Taking it slowly
Eden awoke at 3:00 this morning from a recurring nightmare of being eaten by a shark.
I made her chamomile tea and brewed up some peppermint for me. I plugged in the lights for the trees and started a video while they steeped.
All told, we were up til after six.
It is noon and I am still wearing pajamas and school is untaught, but no one has been emotionally abused.
We have all day.
Tis the Season.
Yes, Jack was allowed to come to the Christmas tree farm.
Story to follow.
The Legumes had their own table this year and loved it. They spent quite a bit of time before and after the meal sitting together, munching on assorted nuts and chatting. Here they are in a quiet moment before we ate.
O Thou who has given us so much,
Mercifully grant us one thing more,
