Three things we bought tonight:
1. a bag of Eukenuba large breed puppy food
2. bowls for food and water
3. a variety of chew toys
OK, it was actually six things, but I question any reader of this blog being pedantic enough to care.
Tomorrow we are buying the reason for all of today’s purchases, a black English Lab puppy. “He’s very pretty and I think he’s made out of Japan,” says Eden.
We are all excited.
I have so much to say that any time I try to write I begin to stutter.

a lot of things I’ve been thinking about marriage
about some of the shifts I’ve made in mothering
what I’m figuring out a family can be
about a boy with a tender heart
The Homeschoolers are on Spring Break. Paul’s taking Thursday and has Friday off. Tomorrow we are going to see a puppy.
I know, I know, adding an actual animal to this mix might not be prudent…

The Bean has put her foot down: I am nolonger allowed to refer to her as cute or adorable, “I’m not a baby anymore, Mom.”
