That’s right, the Bean has now added a gunky eye to the repertoire, as if coughing, snivelling and waking in the middle of the night screaming wasn’t enough. And then she complained that her ear hurts when she swallows.
We’re going to the doctor tomorrow.
But for now, it’s bed.
“You will always be my cousin.” Eden said.
“Yes!” Ren agreed.
“You will never be Satan’s cousin.”
“No!’
“You will be my cousin forever and ever.”
I have been sick.
Eden got came down with it last (as in, well over a week ago) Saturday and has been a snivelling, coughing, middle of the night waking wreck of a Bean.
You know things aren’t going your way when a child awakes screaming at 11:00 p.m. and your first thought is “Thank God it’s not 3 a.m.”
The miles of snot I have wiped this week…
So I’m tired.
But I think we are all on the mend.
Last week my mom was babysitting the little girls and was summoned to the bathroom by Eden who had, “Go-ed poo poo and pee pee!” As Mom was preparing to assist, the Bean informed her, “My poopie obeys me. I tell it ‘Get out!’ and it does.”
