Had a fantasgic weekend celebrating my birthday.
Want to tell you all about it, but I have been fighting a wicked headache and am just beginning to feel humanish. The garden calls, screams…actually I think it only has the strength to moan.

Tonight I came across a note I had made in December. It’s a Beanie quote. I don’t know what I contributed to the conversation. It was clearly one of those times that she was overflowing with brilliance and I had to hang my side in an attempt to capture all of hers. This is what she had to say:

I have a lotta stories.
Last night he said something to me that was embarrassing and then tried to rectify and said something insulting. He soon came to our room (I was saying goodnight to everyone in the living room at the scene of his offense) to apologize and I easily forgave him.
This morning we kissed goodbye and he was walking out the door when I said, “I love you, even though you are mean as a rattlesnake sometimes.”
He paused to shake his giant can and make a rattling hiss then continued on his way.
My family/neighbors are making fun of my “1970’s Trinitron/Cold War” monitor.
We think bigger is better.
Well they made it.
From time to time one of them will remark, “I don’t know why I am so tired…” and I will gently remind them that they just spent five days in a truck that they loaded twice.
Oh yes.
We are so happy they are here
