Alison and I have had a raging debate over the years about tiramisu, and it came up over at my blog, so I thought I’d bring it up over here and continue the razzing. 🙂 I think it’s one of the lamest desserts on the planet–like I said to Alison, it just seems like something where you’d find the recipe for it on the side of a Cool Whip container. I made it at a cooking class last week–boring, boring, boring.
In the pantheon of desserts, why anyway would ever choose to eat tiramisu instead of something else, is simply beyond me.
I do know what you mean about it being like a cool whip recipe, but it is so much more delicate, and delicious than anything cool whip could come up with. Thanks for sharing the history, now i get the joke, and it’s funny dan, you made me laugh.
