A correction

July 20, 2006 by Alison Hodgson 7 Comments

A kind friend pointed out that 37 is officially one’s late thirties. He and I are both a kittenish 36 which places us in our mid-thirties.

An old friend – and by old I am referring to the friendship, not the young man himself – is a gift.

I would also like to point out that Paul is 37 3/4.

Make your own conclusions.

I’m glad you heeded that kind soul’s advice…and don’t forget that 36 is the new 26…

They must have switched to “the new math” the year after I graduated.

Andy turned 38 yesterday. He is fully entrenched in the “late” camp, I’m afraid. I will stay with you in the mid with you for a bit yet.

The things they teach kids in school these days…it’s just like it’s 1988!

You might also scoot over to Scooter/Scott’s blog for further commentary on the 37 year old debate, as he just turned 37 and has a few words to say about it.

It will help if you are a Monty Python fan, but it is applicable either way.

Thanks, for dumping me into late. I hadn’t made that psychological leap yet. This birthday was the first one that was a wee bit traumatic.
