In this segment of the journey Sherry drove our car and Paul rode with Andy so that we could both just look at the scenery. Unfortunately it was so early in the season that most of the road was closed but the little we saw was beautiful. Eden was happy to take pictures of anything that moved.
Like any good photographer, she captured what was at hand, in this case, the flight magazine. She really liked this page and took some better pictures of it, but I liked the bit of the seat in this one.
I was reaching for the camera as she snapped this last one. The flash, illuminating this image in the dark cabin was arresting. It felt like I was having a vision, and I know now, I was. This is what we can be: walking together, following the light and being lit by it.
and is feeling PRETTY good about it.
Have I mentioned I’m crazy about this kid? She won’t let us call her Cakie anymore (a derivative of Baby Cakes) and she is even cracking down on Beanie. “I’m Eden,” she says, “jus Eden.”
