1. I took my kids to the movies the other day and let them choose the treat. They all agreed on Reeses Pieces. Blech. I tried to sell them on M&M’s but they were a united front.
2. Remember the light brown M&M’s? Those were my favorite before they were replaced with blue. Blue! Dark brown is my new favorite M&M color – it tastes chocolatey-er.
3. Although I was hankering for something sweet I knew it would be sad if I ate a good deal of a candy I don’t really like. Seeking to moderate myself I decided to only eat the brown Reeses Pieces. True story: I would pour out about 20 candies into my hand and two of them would be brown. The kids all got their fair share and I came out of the theater with a clean conscience.
I have so much to say and yet by the time I get a chance to say it I am soooo tired.
I want to tell you about:
Being the conversation (re: kindern)
Some really freaky dreams (about The Man)
An essay in installments (note to self: healing)
That’s all for now. I MUST get a good night’s sleep.
She has been asked this on the stand in the last 24 hours:
“What are you putting in the trash?”
and later
“What is in your mouth?”
Her response:
“I’m not going to tell you.”
Birdie remarked after the first refusal, “At least she didn’t lie.”
Yes, let’s start there.
Beanie and I might be talking about her puppy, potties, the weather, the War in Iraq – anything really – and this statement will, invariably, be made, “Wennie’s not fwee; see’s dus two. See’s not a big guhl like me.”
At which point, I agree that her cousin is only two and yet a big girl, in her own right.
