While we ate dinner the pup slept on the floor within sight. After we cleared up Christopher picked him up and the girls gathered around to pet and coo. Eden soon went to bed and then it was Paul, the two older kids and me sitting on the floor, talking quietly and petting the sweet, slumbering moose.

Sunday Torey and David were figuring out our media options (digital still, digital video) when Paul suggested, “Alison could always run around with her laptop.” David found this very funny and imagined an around the neck harness, the laptop open in front of me. This is a great picture. We have the same scene here quite often. Whenever Elli finds sweet Fudge crashed asleep, she sits down next to him on the floor and somehow slides all sixty-five pounds of him onto her lap, stroking him and cooing sweetly as he sleeps.
