After compiling a lengthy list and having five way discussions all day – and I do mean five way, Eden was pulling hard for Winston – we finally reached a consensus. It took some time, when a beloved name got shot down, whoever backed it usually came up with another and another and another. Jack was the first name four of us agreed on. Lydia was away and we called to run it by her. She was reluctant, but came around.
Thank you to Dan for reminding me of Photobooth. How could I forget? It proved tricky getting his dark features to register. He is a gentle, sweet pup.

Scott, I remembered, after the consensus, Jack Henry.
Your Jack is cuter, but I’m hoping mine is housebroken sooner.

Sweet Jack is adorable. Great looking pup.
When we named last year’s temporary demon puppy from hell, Tano was pulling for Padawan, as in a Star Wars apprentice to a Jedi knight, “Well done, young padawan; your training is progressing nicely.”
We thought it was clever until we realized that it would likely get shortened to Paddy, and with Jim’s girlfriend (now fiance) named Patricia, we knew that would not go over well.

Jack is nice name for a dog. Always makes me think of Little House on the Prairie books. The only thing I liked about the couple I made it through was the phrase, “our good dog Jack”. He is very cute, I am sure your lab will be long hours of fun and comfort.

He’s great! I can’t wait to play with the little guy.

Sokay – I believe for every child we house train, a friend has a similarly named dog. In fact, that’s where we found half our names.
