Elli was teasing Tano this evening about Lydia being his girlfriend.

Rather than being embarrassed, though, Tano rationalized that, even though it was too early now, when he WAS ready to have a girlfriend, she would be a pretty good choice, because if he married Lydia, then he would get Christopher for a brother and the Bean for a cute little sister. He loved Eden so much, more than he let on in front of the big kids.
I wholeheartedly agreed and threw in a good word about his potential mother and father-in-law, as well.
