The kids and I were given tickets to an ice skating show (more on that later). One of the routines was performed to “You are so beautiful”. For years Paul and I have been singing this to the kids with variations. Stealing melodies and attaching our own lyrics is a speciality of ours.
Eden was perched on my lap, sucking her thumb. I was hugging her and kissing her head and quietly commenting on the ice skaters to keep her focused on them and off her oft repeated question, “Is it done?”
“Does Jesus sing this to me?” she asked.
I thought for a moment and then whispered, “Yes, he does.”

Wonderful!….at 44 I am just starting to believe that Jesus, just might really sing this to me….I’m hoping my kids get “it” sooner
That’s beautiful! “The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
