The Man was in China all last week hence the quiet blog.
Tomorrow Beanie and I fly off into the sunset (literally) headed for Vancouver, B.C. to visit my sister, Torey, and her family. Paul will be here with the older two, holding down the fort and educating them.
This evening Christopher and I did a little shopping and bought a bunch of convenience foods. Next week it’s going to be a Trans-fat-O-Rama at our house.

It has been so cloudy here, one of our worst winters ever, and that is saying something. Last weeekend I was seriously contemplating looking at a weather map, finding my closest friend or relative with sunshine, piling the kids in the van and driving there immediately. The timing of this trip could not be better, although I have been questioning the wisdom of heading to the
Pacific Northwest. It’s not exactly a sun spot, but it will be different and no one is expecting me to educate them, so I am calling it a vacation.
Eden and my neice, Ren have been pining for each other. Both, out of the blue, will say, “I miss mah cousin.” or “I need mah cousin.” I am so grateful that I am able to bring these loving hearts together.

My husband’s travel is really getting in the way of my blogging – posting and commenting. There were several discussions into which I would have liked to have slid my two cents or at least expressed my gratitude for others sliding theirs.
This blog might be quiet for another week – I’m not sure. Hopefully I will be back soon, full of vim and vigor…or something, maybe stories.
There are always stories.

Have Fun! Travel Safe! Enjoy your family. You will be missed in the blogosphere and your blog family, but we look forward to the cousin stories when you return.

Enjoy your travels here to the PNW. Unfortunately (at least where I am) they are calling for “30 degrees and a slight-possibility of snow” this weekend.
So you may not get much of a break from snow or grey skies.
Sorry.
