I was talking to my sister about some real estate. On the web page I was able to access I had an aerial shot of the property. She couldn’t get one, “I’ll look on Google Earth.”
????
Are Paul and I the last people in the world to discover this? I went to GoogleEarth.com and found out you can enter an address, just about anywhere in the world and get a fairly close satellite photo of it. Smashing. Ever wanted to pretend to be a spy or hacker? Baby, this is it. Of course, I get dazzled by clean garages, so I’m pretty easy.
Paul and I flew around the globe several times, giggling in excitement. It is cool and disturbing at the same time. If my dad was alive he would be in the back yard digging a bunker. God bless him.
He’s above all that now.
“He’s above all that now.” – Beautiful and true and perfect with your Google Earth post.
As far as Google Earth goes – still unavailable for the Mac. : (
OK, load the hellions in the van, head North and we can play all day.
When we realized we needed to download something, Paul immediately asked, “Do you really want it?” I said I didn’t care then left the room for ten minutes. When I returned Paul was looking at our house. So cool.
Hehehe – “I said I didn’t care then left the room for ten minutes” – Smooth.
I’d love to head North with the Furies and the Boy – soon, soon.
Ok, I’ve wasted going on three hours now with this Google Earth . . . oh it is so COOL! I’ve never heard of it before! The pic of our house is old, though – it’s pre-pool, but I think that is our car in the driveway 🙂
