Years and years ago a friend of ours said as we were walking into a theater, “Enter on the side which is opposite your instincts.” He assured us there would be more open seats. For years and years I have been going in opposite the flow, against my instinct so that now my instinct is to go opposite and I can’t tell which is which.
It isn’t a big deal, but sometimes I have a little mental spasm entering a theater alone.
Fortunately I don’t get out a lot.
I do the same thing with my pathetic sense of directions. I’ve turned the wrong direction so many times that I’ve begun to just turn the opposite of what my instinct tells me, in hopes of being right on the first try. Logically, that can’t work for very long, leaving me back to square one.
This is great – Classic!
mrsfish,
And time to blog too!
You are just showing off: moving across the country making all your adjustments, keeping up your blog, reading others and commenting too!
You should tell your slacker friends, – KMJ and Sherry C. to take note.
Hey, this slacker takes exception to this. I think I’ll blog about it. Wait, feeling too slackerly… no I won’t. 😉
