Alison, did you realize that, because your profile is blocked to public viewing, people can’t get into your blog by clicking on your name in the comments you leave on blogs? Normally, a blogger’s name is a link to her blog, but your blog access is blocked in that way. If people already know your blog url, they can get to your blog, but if they don’t–their outta luck! (I discovered that yesterday. Fortunately, I could click on the link in Sherry’s list of blog links to get to your blog.)

OK, I was lurking, er, reading.

Comment: Your transparency and your ability to bring a reader “there” inspire me…I’ll leave it at that because as has been said earlier, this is a family blog. 🙂

Technical difficulties in the comment category.

Mrs. D. Thank you for the heads up. I was aware of the problem and trying to correct it. Fortunately my Blog Sensei, to whom you gave birth, is on the job.

    Paul,

I am glad that “there” is usually “here” for you. I love you. Thanks for encouraging me to write.

    Jaymarie,

I am glad you are back on the blog. I didn’t harass you as we haven’t met, but am glad you are back.

I can’t remember if I commented but I related to the hiding with a book.

    Looking forward to reading more.

Thanks for lurking (:))around my blog.

I’d be more likely to comment on your blog if you had the right link to mine. It wouldn’t hurt if you had a special name for me like “Pretty” either.

    Mark,

I am sorry about the link. My friend set them up for me in a hurry and made a mistake. She is off the planet for a couple of weeks so it might have to wait until her return or my mastery of HTML.

It could be a while. Looking forward to Saturday.

P.S. I spoke with Mrs. M. and she says it is going to be a 2 1/2 hour service. Goodness. Bring lots of snacks and books for your little guy.

No problem. Since I spend several hours of my daily life playing with HTML, I could help if you need it. Not that my link is that important. I’m fairly certain my readership is limited — and since I’m still working through my commitment issues with blogging….

I think it may just be me on Saturday. John is sick and we will, more than likely, still have our out of town guests from North Carolina on Saturday. There is virtually no way a healthy and happy John could take 2 1/2 hours, much less a sickly John.

    See you then.
